I'm going too!!!

I thought this was just too cute and I had to share. Ann is packing to go to Dallas this weekend.  Look who wanted to come along!

Close encounters of the bird kind

Last night my darling husband was out grilling pork chops on the grill.  I am making potatoes and corn inside when he yells in - "HURRY, COME HEREEEEEEE NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!"  I run towards the back deck, get half way there and he yells next, "BRING THE CAMERAAAAAAA."  So I run back, grab the nearest camera, and run back out. I still do not know what is going on but hubby can barely speak he is so excited.  He points toward the trees. I finally see what he is pointing at up on the electric wire, a red tailed hawk.  It had landed on the house about 6 feet from him, sat there and then decided to fly to the other side of the yard and perch on the wire for our picture taking pleasure.  Enjoy.

Guess what readers??!?!?!?!??!!?

I talked mom into taking pictures of me in my new winter coat!

Here they are:

First is me in the kitchen. I am so cute and adorable. Who can resist my power? I don't have much hair so when it gets cold outside I need additional protection from the elements.

Now here is what you have all been waiting for, me in my new Parka!!! I even have the hood up in this shot. It was cold and windy that day so mom really bundled me up. The leaves were fun to sniff and chase by the way.

Here is another shot where you can see my face a bit more. I am stalking a leaf. 

Please tell me what you think of my new coat. I have other clothes and will do more posts if you let mom know you like these.  I hope to hear from lots of you.
